Well so far- so good! J and I are LOVING our adventure so far! AND we are officially Coloradans! We just got our licenses last week! J says he instantly felt a deeper connection to the Denver Broncos and claims them as his "second favorite team." Which, for those of you who do know J, that's a big deal. He's a die hard, born and raised Chicago Bears fan! (Don't worry- I'm working on him) :)
We also added a fur baby to the family! Her name is "Poppy!" She's a teeny tiny miniature dachshund. She LOVES to cuddle. She's a great playmate for Abby!
Besides the slight discouragement of being still jobless everything has been wonderful. J's had a couple of interviews and even a couple offers but the right job hasn't come along yet. It will, though! We have enjoyed bonfires, walks around the lake that is less than a mile away, hikes, scenic drives, golfing and so much more. We're even becoming quite the horse-shoe players. It's been so nice for me to fit right back in this community that I love so much and introduce everyone to the man I love so much! The puppies are adjusting great and get along so well with each other. They both are a constant source of joy and entertainment.
We both got callings at church which has definitely helped us feel even more at home. J is the "Gospel Essentials" teacher and I, the Sunbeams teacher! We have only had a couple weeks in them, but have enjoyed every minute of them so far.
J will be starting an online program for his Masters Degree in Public Relations. He is excited and anxious for the challenge. I'm always so amazed and grateful for J's willingness to do what it takes to best provide for his family. He's so smart and talented. I kind of like him :)
